Phonetics:
(For those interested, the phonology of Selensei is somewhat similiar to that of Lojban.)
Selensei has 7 vowels: a e i o u y µ. Vowels are generally short, with some exceptions: a is ah, e is eh, o is oh. The two notable exceptions is that the vowels “u” and “i” are always long. I is pronounced like “ee”, but is shorter than the diphthong ee (noted below). U is pronounced like “oo”, but is shorter than the dip
